Doodhpathri — literally 'valley of milk' — is named after its frothing white streams that tumble over smooth stones. At 2,730 m in the Budgam district, this undeveloped meadow is a riot of wildflowers in spring and remains one of Kashmir's best-kept secrets. No shops, no hotels — just waterfalls, pine fringes, and shepherds grazing their flocks.
