Overview

The Leh–Nubra–Pangong Circuit is the most searched Ladakh itinerary in India — and for good reason. It covers the two destinations everyone comes for (Nubra Valley and Pangong Tso), crosses two of the world's highest motorable passes (Khardung La and Chang La), and fits into 6 days without feeling rushed. Day 1 is rest in Leh — non-negotiable at 3,524 m. Day 2 is gentle local sightseeing to let the body finish adjusting. Day 3 is the Khardung La crossing into Nubra. Day 4 is the Shyok Valley drive to Pangong. Day 5 is a full day at the lake. Day 6 is the Chang La return. Every day has one big thing and one scenic drive — there is no filler. Itinerary (Day by Day)

Arrive at Leh (3,524 m). Transfer to hotel. Rest for the day — no sightseeing, no uphill walking, no alcohol. Drink 3–4 litres of water. A mild headache by evening is normal. Your guide visits in the evening to brief you on the 6-day circuit and the altitude advisory. Overnight Leh hotel.
