Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Vertex Kashmir Tour & Travels, we strive to provide our customers with the best possible experience. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and plans may change. Below is our comprehensive cancellation and return policy for your convenience.
1. Cancellation by the Customer:
More than 30 Days before the Travel Date:
- If you cancel your tour 30 days or more prior to the scheduled departure date, you will be entitled to a full refund, minus a 10% service charge of the total booking amount.
Between 15 to 29 Days before the Travel Date:
- For cancellations made between 15 and 29 days prior to the scheduled departure date, a cancellation fee of 25% of the total booking amount will be charged. The remaining amount will be refunded.
Between 7 to 14 Days before the Travel Date:
- If the cancellation is made between 7 and 14 days before the travel date, 50% of the total booking amount will be retained as the cancellation fee, with the remaining refunded.
Less than 7 Days before the Travel Date:
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before the departure will incur a cancellation fee of 75% of the total booking amount.
No Show or Same Day Cancellation:
- In case of a no show or cancellation on the day of the tour, 100% of the total booking amount will be charged as a cancellation fee, and no refund will be provided.
2. Cancellation by Vertex Kashmir Tour & Travels:
- In the rare event that we must cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, political unrest, or any other situation beyond our control, you will receive a full refund of the booking amount. We may also offer the option to reschedule the tour to a later date at no additional cost.
3. Refund Policy:
- Refunds will be processed within 7-10 working days from the date of cancellation, after deducting applicable charges, if any.
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
- Any booking made via third-party platforms or agents may have separate cancellation policies, and refunds will be subject to the policies of those platforms.
4. Early Termination of Tour:
- In case a customer wishes to terminate the tour early due to personal reasons, no refund will be provided for the unused services.
- However, if the early termination is due to medical or emergency situations, we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
5. Amendments to Bookings:
- Change of Travel Date:
- If you wish to change your travel date, the request must be made at least 14 days prior to the original travel date. Any amendments will be subject to availability and applicable price differences.
- A service fee of 5% of the total booking amount will be applied for date changes.
- Change of Tour Package:
- Changes to the selected tour package can be made up to 15 days before the travel date. Any difference in cost will either be charged or refunded accordingly. A service fee of 10% will be applied for such changes.
6. Force Majeure:
- In the case of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, war, strikes, pandemics, or government-imposed restrictions that affect your tour, Vertex Kashmir Tour & Travels reserves the right to cancel or reschedule your booking. In such cases, we will offer:
- Full refund of the booking amount, or
- The option to reschedule your tour for future dates without any extra charge.
7. Special Note on COVID-19:
- In case of travel restrictions, lockdowns, or any pandemic-related issues, cancellations or postponements will follow government guidelines.
- We offer flexible rescheduling in cases of travel disruptions due to COVID-19, subject to availability.
8. Non-Refundable Charges:
Certain components of the tour may be non-refundable, such as:
- Airline tickets
- Visa fees
- Certain hotel bookings
- Activities booked with third-party providers
These charges will be communicated to you at the time of booking.
